Description
A Fifty-year SilenceIn 1948, after surviving World War II by escaping Nazi occupied France for refugee camps in Switzerland, the author's grandparents, Anna and Armand, bought an old stone house in a remote, picturesque village in the South of France. Five years later, Anna packed her bags and walked out on Armand, taking the typewriter and their children. The two never saw or spoke to each other again, never remarried, and never revealed what had divided them forever. A

Helpful for nursing school and NCLEX
Format: Paperback
This book was helpful in my nursing school journey. I still use it and it breaks it all down in simpler terms to better understand the material. Highly recommend for med-surg nursing.

It’s okay
Format: Paperback
I’m a veteran RN who left nursing to raise my family. I let my license expire because I did not have to work, nor did I want to. I was burnt out. Anyway, I decided to get my license reinstated and instead of doing expensive refresher courses, I’m taking the NCLEX. Again. After 18 years. I just wanted to brush up on some of the topics and procedures. I don’t know… this book was okay. It was nice to have access to all the practice questions, but I did notice that a lot of times, the “correct” answers went directly against what it says in the book. I feel like that’s confusing, especially for a new grad nurse who doesn’t have much time in the field. Anyway, I wouldn’t buy this again, but I’m testing tomorrow, so we will see how it goes!
